Hadewych de Vos

In January 2021, Hadewych de Vos(1999) completed her bachelor degree atthe Royal Conservatory of The Hague, where she studied with Vera Bethssince 2016. Hadewychbegan playing the violin at the age of five, participatingin a music education program for children (PIVO) atthe Royal Conservatoire of  The  Hague. From2008until  2016,she  studied  withKoosje  van  Haeringenat  the  Young  Talent department  of  the  conservatoire. Hadewych  will  continue  her  studies  with  Vera  Beths  at  the Conservatory of Amsterdam.From  an  early  age  Hadewych  has  played  in  orchestras,  such  as  the  Atheneum  Kamerorkest  and JeugdOrkest Nederland. She took partin several projects of theNational Youth Orchestra  (NJO),twiceas (co-)principal. Hadewych participated in several (international) masterclasses and competitions. In 2014 she won the third prize at the Iordens Dutch Violin competition. She has received masterclasses from  Rainer  Küchl,  PhilippeGraffin,  Petru  Muteanu,  StephanPicard,  Baiba  Skrideand  Rosanne Philippens.Since September 2016, Hadewychis first violinist of the Pelargos Quartet. Theensemble hasreceived masterclasses  from members  of renowned string quartets includingQuatuor Danel, Cuarteto Casalsand  the  Jerusalem  Quartet. In  August  2021,  the  quartet  performed during  the  NJO  Muziekzomer Gelderland. In  July  2021,  Hadewych alsocompleted herbachelor  degree‘Life,  Science  &  Technology’at the Universities of Leiden and Delft.
