Evaluation Summary Masterclass 2004
It was a pleasure to have 40 talented
young musicians from all over the world
participating in the 14th edition of the masterclass in Apeldoorn the
last week of August 2004. How much they appreciated their participation,
masterclasses and concerts, has been clearly presented in their feedback
in the evaluation forms of the course.

My guest parents were wonderful, and
they took great care of us.
They are really kind and nice persons.

4. How would you compare this Masterclass to others
you know?

Please
explain why:
Great accommodation - much
better than others. Firstly there are 4 different top class musicians
to learn from, not only one. Secondly everyone gets an opportunity to
perform in concert situations (apart from the classes). 3rdly the hospitality
and friendliness amongst the board and helpers are incredible!
Professionally organized, interesting concerts,
marvellous teachers, good pr.
Atmosphere much less competitive than in other
master classes.
I like that there were so many people joining
the lessons (non-participants).

In general, what would you suggest to the organization to do differently
or better next year?
Stay
as you are, enthousiastic, lovely and professional.
It
would be great to have students and faculty play together, especially
to know the repertoire to be performed long in advance.
Organize instantly formed ensembles for the
concerts earlier in the week. Furthermore I would like to thank you for
a very enjoyable week in which I have learned a lot !!
Soloists to have the opportunity to play through
some chamber music with other participants during the
week as they may not always have the opportunity to play with other different
kinds of musicians and learn different ideas/approaches.
Great lessons and locations of concerts. Thank
you very much, I enjoyed this week very much!
