Inês Diez
Inês Díez began her musical studies in 2007 at Conservatório- Escola das Profissional das Artes da Madeira in the violin class of Elena Kononenko and in the harp class of Oksana Kuznyetsova, where she completed a high school degree in violin performance in 2016. In 2015 she was selected for the exchange program Erasmus+ in the Helsingin Konservatorio, Finland in the class of Tapio Tuovila. From 2016 she moved to the Netherlands where she studied her bachelor degree at the Codarts- Rotterdam in the class of Natalia Morozova.
She has participated in lessons and masterclasses with professors Philippe Graffin, Alissa Margulis, Ilya Grubert, Nadja Nevolovitsch, Alexander Pavtchinskii, Eliot Lawson, Päivyt Meller, Igor Tkachuk, Alessandro Moccia and Igor Gruppman.
In 2014 Inês was awarded with the 1st prize in the competition ‘’Concurso Internacional da Cidade do Fundão’’, Portugal and in 2015 with the 2nd prize in the competition ‘’XXI Century Art International Competition’’, Portugal.
She has taken part in internships in the orchestras Orquesta Filarmónica de Medellín, Colombia (2014) and Orquestra Clássica da Madeira, Portugal (2013-2015) and in the youth orchestras Oj.com, Portugal (2015), Nationaal Jeugdorkest, Netherlands (2018-2019) and in a student orchestra for the Gergiev Festival of 2018 in Rotterdam, having the chance to perform in prestigious concert halls such as Musikverein (Vienna), Het Concertgebouw (Amsterdam) and DeDoelen (Rotterdam), and to work with conductors such as Valery Gergiev, Gustavo Gimeno, Ivan Meylemans, Arie van Beek, Antony Hermus, Georg Fritzsch, Jac van Steen, Gonzalo Ospina, Alejandro Posada, Martin André, among others.
